SERVICES
One team for everything your small business does online
True Noise is an AI-forward digital marketing agency for small businesses across the UK. We cover six connected areas – audience, content, presence, engagement, AI and security. You get your website, email, e-commerce and the rest from one team instead of five suppliers. We are a small business ourselves, so we build the way you would: affordable, modern and secure.
Rolling monthly. No lock-in. Based in Peterborough, working across the UK.
WHY THIS PAGE EXISTS
The way digital usually goes for a small business
You end up with a web designer, an SEO person, someone for email, a social freelancer and whoever built the website two years ago, and nobody owns the result. The site they shipped looks dated and never got touched again. And AI is moving fast, but the advice you find is all theory and no help.
We run on the same tools you do, so we know exactly how fragmented it gets. Most UK small businesses still run their own website – about seven in ten (LOCALiQ UK, 2026) – and the pace of digital change remains a standing UK SME pressure (LOCALiQ UK digital marketing statistics). One relationship, joined up, is the fix.
WHAT WE DO
Six areas, grouped so it actually makes sense
We organise everything around the journey a customer takes, then add the two capabilities that run through all of it. Start where it hurts most; the rest is there when you need it.
The journey: find, win and keep customers
Audience – know who you are talking to Market and customer research, segmentation, and clean analytics so you stop guessing. AI speeds up the research; we lock down your tracking so the data is yours and consented.
Content – your message, made sharply and consistently Blog and SEO content, social content, e-commerce listings and brand, produced to a steady standard. AI-assisted production keeps the volume up; everything is reviewed by a person before it goes out.
Presence – be found, and built well Modern, fast, secure websites and stores, plus SEO, AI-search visibility and local search. We track how you show up in AI answers, and security is built into every build rather than bolted on.
Engagement – connect, convert and keep Email and lifecycle marketing, social management, conversion work and reviews – the loop that turns visitors into repeat customers. AI helps with timing and segmentation; your customer accounts stay locked down and compliant.
The capabilities that run through everything – and stand on their own
AI – put it to work Woven through every area above, and available on its own: automation that removes repetitive work, chatbots, and practical training for your team.
Security – keep it safe Lean and SMB-sized: password management, locking down the accounts your business runs on, and keeping your website secure. Not IT support – the digital hygiene that holds the rest together, based on NCSC small-business guidance.
WHERE WE GO DEEP
What we are known for
Most of what we do, plenty of agencies can do. These four are where we are different, and where we lead with proof, not promises.
AI Automation & Workflows We build the dull, repeatable parts of your business into automated workflows – drafted by AI, approved by a person, live in a week or two. It is where we put most of our energy, and most agencies at the small-business end still do not offer it.
Email & Lifecycle Marketing Email is the oldest and most tested skill on our team – we have been running campaigns and flows since long before it was fashionable again. Campaigns, automations, segmentation and retention in Klaviyo, set up lean and kept UK GDPR and PECR-compliant.
E-commerce Listing Optimisation Amazon A+, Shopify and Etsy listings built to convert and reduce buyer hesitation. We have done this for real brands – premium provenance storytelling for Manuka Doctor, and brand-building for lifting-tape brand CJC Gains.
Websites & Web Apps Modern, fast, secure builds and redesigns, with accessibility and Core Web Vitals targets built in from the start rather than added later. The opposite of a site that gets shipped once and never looked at again.
Migrate off WordPress If your site is on WordPress, the security and maintenance burden falls on you – constant plugin updates, hosting decisions and access control you never signed up for. We move you onto a modern stack that is secure by default, so that weight is off your shoulders. (We do not build or maintain WordPress — we move you off it.)
HOW YOU WORK WITH US
Two simple ways to get started
A monthly plan – capacity you point where it matters One fixed monthly amount, pointed at whatever your priorities are that month: email, SEO, listings, AI automation. You agree the focus with us at the start of each period, watch the work in a live client portal, and get one consolidated report each month.
- Essential – £350/month · for keeping momentum without a full marketing team
- Growth – £750/month · for businesses ready to push on
- Scale – £990/month · the full programme
Rolling monthly, 30 days’ notice, no lock-in. Unused capacity does not roll over – it resets each month, and if a quiet month is coming we will tell you.
Custom project work – £60/hour Websites, migrations and one-off builds, scoped into a fixed estimate that we agree with you before any work begins. Many clients run a project alongside a monthly plan.
PROOF
Work we can point to
We keep this honest. These are real, named engagements. Our position rests on the evidence on this page – the UK small-business research we cite throughout (LOCALiQ UK, Be Certified, the British Chambers of Commerce and Intuit) and the NCSC small-business guidance our security work follows.
- Manuka Doctor – Amazon A+ content for a premium honey brand, built around trust and provenance.
- CJC Gains – Amazon A+ content and brand-building for a lifting-tape brand.
We have more work we can talk you through; if you want to hear about something in your sector, just ask. We also hold our own systems to a higher standard than most agencies ask of themselves, and that is the same instinct we bring to your accounts and your site.
QUESTIONS
Common questions
Do I need all six areas, or can I just start with one?
Start with one. Most clients begin where the pain is sharpest – a website rebuild, getting email working, or getting found – and expand later. The monthly plan points capacity at whatever matters most each month, agreed with you at the start of each period.
What is the difference between the monthly plan and a project?
The monthly plan is ongoing capacity – a fixed monthly amount pointed at things like email, SEO, listings and AI automation. Project work covers one-off builds such as websites and migrations, scoped at £60/hour with a fixed estimate agreed before anything starts. Plenty of clients run both at once.
Is True Noise right for a very small business – just me, or a team of five?
Yes. Most of our clients are small owner-run businesses or small teams, and the Essential plan at £350/month exists precisely for keeping momentum without a full marketing department. We are a small team ourselves, so we understand the lean-budget reality from the inside.
How quickly will I see results?
It depends on the work: email campaigns produce measurable numbers – opens, clicks, revenue – within days, e-commerce listing improvements can lift conversion within the first reporting period, and SEO typically takes three to six months to build traction. A free audit gives you a realistic timeline before you commit to anything; we do not promise specific rankings or guaranteed outcomes.
What does “AI-forward” actually mean in practice?
It means AI is in the actual delivery – drafting content, automating workflows, and tracking how your brand appears in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers – not a line on a brochure. AI runs through every area we offer, and we also build standalone AI-automation projects. For context, AI adoption among UK SMEs has grown to roughly a third actively using it (British Chambers of Commerce and Intuit, 2025) – but the point is using it well, not just having it.
What is included in the Security area – is it IT support?
No general IT support, and no phone or laptop repair. We cover the digital tools and accounts your business runs on: password management (we often use Bitwarden), locking down business-critical accounts like Shopify, Klaviyo and Google Workspace with two-factor authentication and clean offboarding, and keeping your website secure, backed up and patched. Lean, practical, and based on NCSC small-business guidance.
Can you work with the tools we already use?
Yes. Our core stack includes Klaviyo for email, Shopify for e-commerce, and GA4 and Google Tag Manager for analytics, alongside standard SEO and AI tools. Custom work is scoped around your existing platform – there is no proprietary lock-in, and the goal is to improve what you already have.
Do you work with businesses outside Peterborough and Cambridgeshire?
Yes. Most of our work is remote and our clients are based across the UK; Peterborough and Cambridgeshire is our home base, with in-person meetings available for Growth and Scale clients in the region. Being genuinely local is an asset, not a limit.
What happens if I want to stop?
The monthly plan is rolling, with 30 days’ notice. No penalty and no lock-in. Capacity resets each month rather than rolling over, and if we can see a quiet month coming we will flag it and suggest pausing or downgrading.
How is True Noise different from a freelancer or a larger agency?
A freelancer covers one discipline; a larger agency often hands smaller clients to junior staff. We are a small specialist team where senior attention is the default, AI amplifies what we can produce, and the scope is bounded to what small businesses actually need – marketing, e-commerce, web, and the security that holds it together. One relationship, not five suppliers.
Let’s see where you stand
A free audit is the easiest place to start. We look at your site, your visibility and your accounts, then send you a short written list of what is worth doing first and where you are most exposed – usually within a few working days. No obligation, no long form. If you already know the project you want, start there instead.
Rolling monthly. No lock-in. We reply within one working day.
